Who Are We?

McLelland TV Company was formed in 1948 by O.C. and C.O. McLelland. Our first store was in the old W.O.W. building at 414 Main Street. In 1955 we moved to 103 E. Front Street, and in 1983 we moved to our present location at 302 Broadway Drive.

Our Present Location

The building we are in now is a 12,500 square foot building that was designed from scratch especially for an electronics sales and service store. Our sales floor makes up over 6000 square feet of the building. The rest is service area, offices, and warehousing.

Dedicated to Sound

We currently have two sound rooms in our store. One is set up for bookshelf speakers, outdoor speakers, and floor speakers from Boston Acoustics, SONY ES, and Definitive Technology. They are powered by SONY ES components. In our second sound room, we have pre-packaged home theater speakers systems by Boston and Definitive Technology. All speakers are powered by SONY components and demonstrated on SONY TVs.

Dedicated to Home Theater

We have made a major commitment to home theater in Hattiesburg. We have gone so far as to build a complete Dolby Digital theater in our store. We demonstrate LCD projectors by SONY, automation by Makita Drapes, Lutron lighting control, SVS projector lifts, and Niles Intellicontrol.
